Why are you called Associazione Benàch?

Benàch, in fact, was the ancient name of Lake Garda, and most likely the small town of Nago too (the local dialect is called ‘Nach’)

When were you founded?

Benàch was founded in 2011 by a group of people interested in developing greater awareness for local historical events

Where are you located?

We predominantly operate out of Nago-Torbole, but study and promote historical events from other provinces in the Trentino region.

What types of history do you focus on?

We are particularly passionate about World War II history, but recognize that this region of Italy played an important role in World War I and the Cold War as well
