The Association Benàch is proud to announce that our documentary, "The Lost Mountaineers," will be presented on Saturday, 27th September, at 4:00 PM at Militaria alla Torre in Bologna.
This prestigious fair, hosted at the Museo Memoriale della Libertà, is one of the most important military history gatherings in Italy. With more than 200 exhibitors from across Europe, Militaria alla Torre brings together collectors, historians, re-enactors, and enthusiasts to share in a unique celebration of history and memory. Visitors can explore rare uniforms, historical memorabilia, restored military vehicles, and meet experts who keep the legacy of the past alive.
Representing Benàch will be Antonella Previdi and Ben Appleby, alongside the legend himself, Giovanni Sulla, who makes a powerful appearance in the documentary.
Being part of such an event underscores the importance of telling the story of the 25 soldiers from the 10th Mountain Division who disappeared in Lake Garda on April 30, 1945, and who remain officially missing in action. Presenting The Lost Mountaineers here is both a recognition of their sacrifice and a chance to connect their story with the broader community of people dedicated to preserving military history.
We warmly invite all attendees of Militaria alla Torre to join us for this special screening and to help us continue to ensure that these men are truly never forgotten.

Ben Appleby, Antonella Previdi, and Giovanni Sulla — members of The Lost Mountaineers team.

Don’t miss it! The Lost Mountaineers screening — Saturday, 27th September at Militaria alla Torre.
